Mild to Wild Rafting & Jeep Tours
Mild to Wild Rafting & Jeep Tours provides whitewater rafting trips on Clear Creek in Idaho Springs. We offer two primary ways to experience the river: our Classic Trip, which runs right through the heart of the town, featuring Class II and III rapids perfect for families and first-timers (ages 7+), and our Advanced/Intermediate Trip, which offers technical Class IV rapids for those seeking a thrilling whitewater adventure (ages 15+). We differentiate ourselves through a rigorous commitment to guest experience: our trip leaders average 2,000 river miles—nearly triple the state requirement—and every guide is certified in First Aid and CPR. Additionally, we boast an in-house training program that focuses on guide development and continuing education, helping our team achieve advanced professional certifications such as Swiftwater Rescue, Wilderness First Aid, and Wilderness First Responder.
