Meetings include updates on budget use, upcoming events, community projects, and strategic planning. Residents, business owners, and visitors are encouraged to attend, share input, and stay connected to the growth and vitality of our community.

Idaho Springs Mining Days

August 29, 2026

Step back in time for a two-day, old-fashioned mining competition featuring jackleg drilling, hand mucking, spike driving, and the legendary hand steeling. Watch men and women compete in these historic skills, enjoy free kids’ activities, and celebrate our mining heritage. Held at the Idaho Springs Elks Parking Lot, with registration starting at 9 AM each day.
